Love animals? Want to make a life-saving difference in our community? Become a volunteer! From dog walking, cat socialization, enrichment activities, adoption events, fostering and more, volunteering is a great way to meet fellow animal lovers and make a difference in the lives of shelter animals.

Volunteer Requirements
- Must have a positive, friendly attitude towards animals and people.
- Must commit to following our policies and promoting our shelter in a positive light.
- Must be willing and able to work well with staff and visitors.
- Must complete new volunteer onboarding and training.
- Volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian present and attentive at all times during their volunteer shifts.
- Volunteers with special needs must be accompanied by an adult partner (21+) during their volunteer shifts.
Group Volunteering Opportunities
We accommodate groups with advance notice. Volunteer groups can range from 6 to 25 people depending on our operational needs. Please note that Saturday availability is limited, and we are closed on Sundays. If you’re interested in organizing a group volunteer session, please complete the group application link listed above, and our volunteer coordinator will be in touch!
